My to-do list is so mind-numbingly long that you’d think I’d have spent my day off working on it and I’m sure I would have if I were a normal human being I’m sure that’s what I would have done.
But I’m not.
While I’m not a normal human I am sometimes a smart one.
Not often so don’t get too excited.
With everything going on right now I thought it would be best to take a day to relax and enjoy life.
Theme park therapy it is!
It has been a while since Kayla and I had a chance to have a theme park date so we joined forced to go have a little fun. Originally I was thinking Epcot but at the last minute I decided that Hollywood Studios would be fun.
The temptation was to stay all day and into the night to check out the Christmas stuff but neither of us had anything close to resembling the energy for that because apparently we are both old farts.
After a Stabucks run we hit the road and made our way to Studios. I know I’ve made fun of the park a lot because of all the construction but it’s a great place to pop into for a few hours of fun without being overwhelmed.
It was really fun to see the place all decked out for Christmas will as the new decorations and whatnot.
Only problem was one of the reindeer.
I’m not sure what I did to him in a past life but he looked PISSED.
“Why is it so angry?” I asked Kayla.
“I think you pissed him off.”
“I think that reindeer wants to fight me.”
Why you mad bro?
We kept it simple for the day. We had some fast passes set up and wait times were low for the rides we wanted to do. We were able to walk on to Rock ’N’ Roller Coaster as it had just opened up from being temporarily down. Kayla had never ridden it before so it was a good time.
I think she liked it. I think the guy behind us is praying? I’m having fun so that’s all that matters.
After our Tower of Terror Fast Pass we noticed the line was non-existent so we jumped right back on. Turned around and hit our Roller Coaster fast pass.
We were only in the park for a few hours but it was just what the doctor needed.
Here’s the rest of our ride photos for the day.
Josh, living his best life. Kayla, oddly terrified. Kid in blue hat in front of us, having none of it.
Note the family of vampires.
Hopefully another fun-filled day will come along soon!
