Feeling a Little More Human Again

I’ve been quiet this past week and for some great reasons I suppose. I’ve just been insanely busy. As it turns out, April is just going to be an insane month for me and I’ve already taken to warning people that if they haven’t planned time with me, they won’t get any until May. The

Bring on the April Showers

T.S. Eliot says that April is the cruelest month. I’m thinking he had it wrong, March was kind of a bitch. We’ve been starting to get our afternoon rain here in Orlando and it’s been a bit refreshing. I actually really like the rain. Not the monsoons that we’ll be getting every afternoon starting soon,

I WANNA QUIT THE GYM!

Ya’ll remember that episode of friends where Chandler tries to quit his gym? Season 4. Episode 4. Ya know, in case you feel like giving it a watch. Now, given that one of my goals for this year is to work on my weight loss and physique, it wouldn’t make sense to quit the gym

Alright March, You Better Work Bitch

Fun fact that I just learned: March 5th – 11th is Spring Cleaning Week in the UK. But I live in America and I’m the worst so my spring cleaning week is going to last from March 1st – 31st. I decided last night while I wasn’t getting any sleep that I wanted to use

The Great Big Decagon of Life

I’m gonna go ahead and admit that this has not been my favorite week- matter of fact, it’s been downright stressful as hell. I can’t really pinpoint why, but I know that I’ve been emotionally drained to the point where I have spent far too much time sleeping. A fine example would be that it’s

My Neighbors Want Me to be Fat… Apparently…

As I’ve mentioned a few times since the beginning of the year, I am using the 2018 year to focus on and improve a few different areas of my life. I gave myself January off because a meme told me to. Specifically this one: Yes- memes run my life. I am a sheep. I’ve decided

What Can I Improve This Year?

Well hello there 2018! Ya’ll know I’m not a big fan of the idea of resolutions. I find them to be a fantastic set-up for failure. Especially when people start throwing around the concept of “New Year, New Me!” I hate that. When I first started this blog way back in 2015 I talked about

Running the Dark Side 2017

It seems to be the week of exciting announcements coming from all directions! I would like to thank everyone for saving these for the week I was trying to stay off social media and focus on writing my book. Ya’ll suck. Regardless, I was super pumped to wake up today to find that they have

Tips to Make the Most of Your Color Run Experience

Tomorrow hundreds of people, myself included, will gather at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee for what has been dubbed the Happiest 5k on the Planet. The Color Run. While this will be my third venture into the world of color, many will be partaking for the first time ever! This includes some of my co-workers

Gasparilla Distance Classic 2017

Once you’ve completed the Dopey Challenge at Disney it’s easy to think that’s as crazy as it gets. That is, unless you’ve heard of the Gasparilla Distance Classic. This past weekend while thousands of Princesses stormed the Magic Kingdom for the annual Princess Half Marathon Weekend, I was trekking to Tampa for a different challenge.
