So I haven’t had a proper night’s sleep in days.

This was happening before I wrote my February wrap-up post. I haven’t been able to get to sleep and then when I do, it’s either time to wake up again or my body decides it just wants to be awake.

Does that make sense?

None of this makes sense.

Let me start again.

Hi. I’m Josh and I’m suffering from chronic insomnia.

It’s 4am and I can’t sleep so I’m sitting here watching TV and writing this post.

Wide. Freaking. Awake.

I’m fairly certain to the rest of the world I look a little something like this:


What really pissed me off about this whole thing is as I’m sitting here reading all these sites talking about how to get a better night’s sleep I am only seeing how simple this would be for people with normal lives.

I hate them all.


I have no advice for anyone that may be looking for any.

I’m tired.

I’m cranky.

I’m a hot mess.

I almost passed out at work on Saturday night so that was fun. I’m gonna try to get an appointment with my evil doctor lady simply because I have no other choice but to go to her.

I really need to find a new doctor.

The cat just threw up on the carpet so I’ve got that going for me.

I guess I’m going to go deal with that now.
